Back from 10 days cycle touring in Brittany, great while the sun shined, before the wind, rain and aches. I've been puting of scarfing the bottom panels, but tonight just got on with it and it was pretty straightforward. I started with a powerplane but then sharpened my hand plane and found it much easier with much more control. The stripes as you cut through the veneer layers make it easy to guide the material removal Running out of room to layout the panels for glueing. I'd be in trouble if the Farr was 14' !
